The United states provides free public education for students kindergarten through the twelfth grade. Going to school for these years is now becoming a necessity, but now so is college too. In order to make a career for ones self it is necessary for them to attend a university, so wouldnt you say one needs college in order to make a career for yourself. Higher education is important because it can pave the path to a better economy and society, starting a career, and ensuring a better life, that is why going to college should be free. Education is one of the most important things we can give ourselves. It determines how far we can go in life, and our levels of success. Having an education will help people find better jobs that pay well,†¦show more content†¦Ã¢â‚¬Å"But high costs also leave some college graduates with levels of debt that hamper their abilities to attain at least a middle-class lifestyle† (Redd 2017). This is why a lot of people end up move home after gra duating. Yet with the cost of college tuition being so high this discourages people from wanting to further their education. Some families are not able to afford the high price tag of college. Having access to free higher education will eliminate students struggling after graduating to pay their loans off, ensuring a more stable life. Every person should have the right to have access to education. If everyone had access to higher education the public at large will be more educated thus having educated workers. Having workers that are educated attracts more future employees. With having an educated public there would be more concern with bettering their jobs and their lifestyle. The country as a whole would do better with people graduating from college and start working, rather than just graduating from high school and begin working. The class gap would shrink in size because with everyone having access to free higher education there will be better jobs for everyone.
